A calming, purpose-built blend of 3% Australian sandalwood in 97% jojoba, finished with Bulgarian lavender — made for when inscets bites turn into itchy welts.
Lavender has been used across Egyptian, Greek, and Roman traditions for its calming and skin-soothing reputation, and Bulgaria has grown some of the world’s most prized lavender for over a century. Sandalwood carries its own deep lineage, central to Ayurvedic and ceremonial practice throughout India for its grounding, cooling character. Together, they make a natural pairing — one traditionally turned to for irritation, the other for centering the mind.
I use specifically Australian sandalwood oil which has anti staph properties. This along with the anti inflammatry properties of lavender help to stop the bite turning into an itchy staph infected sore.
A single drop applied directly to a bite brings both traditions to the moment, while the lavender-sandalwood scent lends itself equally well to a quiet meditation break.
